Jacob is born and bred in Hawkes Bay having grown up on an orchard in Bay View and attending Lindisfarne College. He graduated from Massey University with a BBS, majoring in Valuation and Property Management – he bolstered this by completing a Diploma in Rural Valuation. A keen outdoors man, Jacob skis, waterskis, and mountain bikes – giving spare time to track build for the Hawkes Bay Mountain Bike Club. Jacob is firmly establishing himself as a respected valuer in Hawkes Bay.
